| Technology Brief |
The project, supported by Pyrolysis Fund funds under EUDP, aims to establish a full-scale facility for handling 15 tons of chicken manure and straw per day. Additionally, the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) will demonstrate opportunities to upgrade pyrolysis gas to a higher proportion of methane through biomethanation. SDU will also develop measurement methods to validate the impact of the biomass used and the technology employed on the final gas and biochar results. Furthermore, the project will involve the development of a biochar spreader capable of dosing and distributing biochar in powder form on fields.
