GranBio’s E2G production has been suspended since 2021/22. In 2025, the company announced an expansion of the industrial complex, renamed Exygen I, focused mainly on installing biomethane production units using vinasse. GranBio states that it still plans to resume E2G production, contingent on higher market prices.
